The History of Culligan Mollman’s Water

We are a family owned & operated, second-generation Culligan dealership! In 1958 John Mollman (pictured front right) began working for Culligan of Oklahoma City, repairing and installing water equipment. He resigned when the business changed hands and in January 1963, decided to start Mollman’s Water conditioning with his wife Jan (pictured middle right) out of their home.

A few years later, John had the opportunity to purchase the OKC Culligan dealership he had once worked for and Culligan of Oklahoma City has been in the Mollman family ever since. John and Jan have since passed, and are dearly missed. Now brothers Brian Mollman (back left) and Greg Mollman (back right) own and operate the company. In 2023, they purchased Culligan of El Reno and expanded their service area to help even more Oklahoman’s with their water treatment needs.

Today, Culligan Mollman’s Water has over 50 employees and two locations.

About Culligan of Oklahoma City & El Reno

Culligan Water of Oklahoma City’s mission has been to deliver high-quality water treatment products that will benefit every part of our customers’ lives since 1963. We hope to raise the quality of life by purifying its most essential element: WATER. We sell and service bottled water, bottle free coolers, and water conditioning /treatment equipment for industrial, commercial, and residential locations.

This includes water systems for laboratories, hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, universities and electronics manufacturing. Current customers include NASA, the US Army, Lockheed Martin, The Boeing Company, United Launch Alliance, International Paper, TVA, PPG, Nucor Steel, BP Amoco and Bethel National.

We’ve seen nearly every water problem imaginable and we’re doing our part to solve these problems and to deliver the refreshing, clean and pure water.  Free of contaminants and minerals, water treated with Culligan softeners or filtration systems will make an outstanding impression on you and your household or workplace.

Why Culligan Over Retail?

Culligan’s only business is water treatment and filtration. We don’t sell water using appliances or other equipment that relies on quality water that Culligan water treatment systems produce. And since all of our attention is on water, we hold more patents on water treatment equipment and processes than anyone else in the world.

So, you have Culligan International providing the best equipment money can buy, coupled with locally owned stores in Oklahoma City and El Reno, whose sole focus is the satisfaction of their customers and their water quality. That’s a very powerful combination and one that backed with a 100% satisfaction guarantee.
